The Bavaria 46 Cruiser was a new model in 2005 incorporating new brighter interiors with traditional superb sailing abilities. Rich African mahogany interiors impart the sensation of a classic yacht. Large skylights, opening deck windows and low level port-lights give a sense of openness. Relax in the comfort of the master cabin forward or the spacious U-shaped settee amidships. The cockpit layout allows for easy sail handling or just sitting around relaxing after a lively day's sailing.

A fantastic model from Bavaria, the 46 Cruiser is a superb yacht with an exceptionally high standard of comfort and sailing ability.

The deep lead keel, large sail area and Cat 2 coding, means we can venture up to 60 miles from a safe haven - that's perfect for hopping across to France or the Channel Islands as well as cruising the Solent.

We have several matched Bavaria 46's, two of which were featured in the November 2005 Sailing Today chartering feature.

These yachts are perfect for entertaining groups of up to 12 (day sailing) or 10 (overnight) per boat, be it a corporate event with hostess, a birthday party with a difference or a stag/hen weekend. You will not be disappointed.

Entertaining is a pleasure in the fully equipped galley with all mod cons and a large, social dining area in the saloon. Each yacht has two fridges, cooker and plenty of storage for an extended passage. The layout below decks is excellent giving a very spacious feel. Cabins are particularly luxurious. Each yacht sleeps ten in three spacious double cabins, one double bunk cabin and two in the large saloon area. For day sailing, each boat has safety equipment (lifejackets and life-rafts) for up to twelve.

With plenty of hot water and two on-board showers (plus another on deck), you can have all the facilities at sea that you are used to on land.

Roller-reefing headsail and single line-reefing for the mainsail makes for easy handling. All of the control lines are led aft through organisers and separate jammers to give full control from the cockpit. All the winches are self-tailing including secondary spinnaker winches.
